Fans of the Sat.1 crime series “The Last Bull” can look forward to a comeback by Ruhrpott investigator Mick Brisgau. Filming for the eight new episodes with actor Henning Baum is scheduled to begin in spring 2025, as Sat.1 and the streaming service Prime Video jointly announced.
In the new edition, the unconventional cop returns to his area in Essen after more than ten years. But first of all, according to the series creators, he has to free himself from an unfortunate situation and also cope with a terrible blow of fate.
The episodes are expected to be available to stream first on Prime Video from late 2025 to early 2026. Four weeks later, double episodes will be shown on Sat.1. According to the announcement, it is the first time that Prime and Sat.1 have commissioned a series together.
