British actor Jude Law was honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has his family to thank for it.
Now the British actor Jude Law (51) is among the ranks of Hollywood stars who can call a star on the famous “Walk of Fame” their own. On Thursday, December 12th, the actor known for films such as “The Talented Mr. Ripley” and “Sherlock Holmes” was honored with the final star for this year. The father of seven received support during the ceremony from his wife Phillipa Coan (38) and his two eldest children Rafferty (28) and Iris (24).
Thanks go to his family
In his speech, the 51-year-old Brit thanked his family for their support. “I was very fortunate to have a family around me who lived and supported my passion for acting and filmmaking,” Law says. “And some of these members of my wonderful family are here today. And they know what they mean to me. I love them so much,” the actor addressed his family members present.
The actor also thanked his parents for instilling in him his love of film: “I had a mother who showed me the great silent films and comedies and musicals and dramas of Hollywood’s Golden Era,” said Law. His father took him to blockbuster films in the 1970s and 1980s, where they “ate their body weight in popcorn and chocolates,” the Hollywood star recalled in his speech.
Happy in his second marriage
Jude Law and Phillipa Coan have been married since 2019 and their two children were born in 2020 and 2023. Law was previously married to actress Sadie Frost (59) from 1997 to 2003, with whom he has three children. Daughter Iris and two sons Rafferty and Rudy (22). Daughter Sophia (15) comes from a relationship with model Samantha Burke (39) and the actor had another daughter in 2015 with singer Catherine Harding (34).
