In the infamous prison in Brooklyn, New York, P. Diddy awaits trial. Meanwhile, more and more alleged victims are coming forward. Finally three men.
P. Diddy enjoyed an incredible amount of power in the music industry for years. He had money, influence and important decision-makers on his side. But now that he is in prison in Brooklyn, more and more horror stories are coming to light. On Thursday, another complaint was received by the authorities in New York. In it, three men who remain anonymous describe what they apparently experienced with the musician.
P. Diddy: Three men accuse him of rape
They say Diddy drugged and raped her. One of the men was an employee of the rapper. The incidents are said to have happened between 2019 and 2022, partly in New York and partly in the Hamptons. “This is a long overdue opportunity for the victims to take back power after bearing the burden of abuse in silence for several years,” said attorney Thomas Giuffra. “A lawsuit will not undo the injustice committed against them, but it will allow survivors to regain the power and dignity that was taken away from them by Sean Combs,” said Giuffra.
The incidents the three men describe are all similar. One of the alleged victims worked regularly for Diddy and met his boss in a hotel in New York’s Times Square in 2020. They wanted to discuss payments at the time Diddy drugged and sexually abused him. Something similar happened to the second man in 2019, when he was also drugged by Diddy at an after-show party. He tried to defend himself, but lost consciousness due to the drugs. One of Diddy’s employees then gave him $2,500. The third alleged victim describes an incident from 2020. The musician also gave him drugs and raped him at his property in the Hamptons.
He denies the allegations
Diddy denies the allegations through his lawyers. “These allegations are full of lies,” said Diddy’s defense attorney. “We will prove them false and seek sanctions against any unethical lawyer who filed fictitious lawsuits against him.”
It wasn’t until the end of November that a judge refused to release Diddy on bail. The judge wrote in his decision that the musician was unable to prove that his release was necessary to prepare for his upcoming trial in May. The public prosecutor had previously accused Diddy of wanting to contact witnesses in order to influence the trial. According to the public prosecutor’s office, a risk of escape cannot be ruled out.
Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York in mid-September and has been in custody ever since. The public prosecutor accuses the 55-year-old of sexually abusing women and using threats and violence to force them to take part in drug and sex parties. According to the indictment, the long-influential rap mogul used his “empire” in the music business to achieve his goals. Combs denies all allegations and pleads innocent.
