A special day for King Felipe VI. of Spain (56): In the magnificent Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the monarch was awarded an honorary doctorate in social sciences and statistics on Thursday afternoon. The award from the renowned Federico II University marks a historic moment.
“We have realized a dream”, “It is the first time in the history of Federico II that we award an honorary academic degree to a non-Italian head of state.” According to Lorito, the reasons for this special honor are obvious: “Spain is a very important country with a high level of civilization, and the role of the head of state is closely linked to the stability of the country.”
