Victoria Swarovski: “Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year”

“For me, Christmas is one of the best times of the year,” enthuses Victoria Swarovski (31). “The whole family comes together, we decorate the Christmas tree and make it all nice for ourselves.” The presenter has also already made provisions when it comes to gifts. As Braun’s brand ambassador, she puts a beauty must-have under the tree for “the girls in the family”.

Victoria Swarovski: Yes, totally! I’m really looking forward to the quiet time. For me, Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year. I love decorating everything for Christmas and making myself really comfortable. I always use the time around Christmas to recharge the batteries before it’s “Let’s Dance” again in the new year.

Swarovski: Partly, partly. I get a lot of things throughout the year. There is an IPL device from Braun for the girls in the family. Whatever is still on the wish list, I get it last minute, just before Christmas. Since I travel a lot for work and don’t really have much time for shopping, sometimes there’s just no other way.

Swarovski: I am aware that I lead a privileged life, material things are not at the top of the list. My greatest wish is to stay healthy and be able to continue doing what I enjoy. What brings me the most joy are personal gifts, time with my friends, and the simple things that make life so beautiful.

Swarovski: At Christmas the whole family comes together, we decorate the Christmas tree and make it all nice for ourselves. Family and Christmas simply belong together for me. My father always reads a Christmas story and we cook together.

Swarovski: It always varies, depending on what we feel like. But nothing excessive, with a lot of effort. We all cook together, but of course we don’t want to spend the whole day in the kitchen.

Swarovski: Being fit and in shape is part of my job, but there are no restrictions at Christmas. All the goodies are simply part of Christmas.

Swarovski: I am super grateful for everything I was able to experience this year. Professionally, hosting Bambi has made a dream come true. Working with Thomas Gottschalk, Günther Jauch and Barbara Schöneberger on “Because they don’t know what’s happening” was also an absolute highlight. Hosting a show together with these three greats of the genre was like an accolade.

Swarovski: That I stay healthy and can continue to do what I love and enjoy.
