Returning with a live program? This is how Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger say goodbye in their last “Supernasen” podcast.
“We say goodbye!” is the fitting title of the new episode of “The Supernoses” (). Because it is the last episode of her podcast. Thomas Gottschalk (74) and Mike Krüger (73) gave up after a year and a half. This was preceded by a tasteless joke by Gottschalk about Maite Kelly (45) in a previous episode, which triggered a shitstorm.
Mike Krüger only mentions the name Maite Kelly once at the beginning of the final episode. There is no justification or even an apology. Instead, the “super noses” make fun of an open letter that presenter Andrea Kiewel (59) wrote to Gottschalk about the Kelly case. He boasts that of course he didn’t read the letter.
In general, Thomas Gottschalk is unreasonable. He doesn’t want to accept terms like “body shaming” or “gender”, he once again makes that unmistakably clear. Towards the end of the episode, Gottschalk and Krüger read letters from their “apostles,” as they call their listeners. A truck driver describes them as an alternative to the “woken uniformity” that they proudly quote. After all, the listener is an honest worker and not one of those people from the Internet.
Gottschalk doesn’t dare to talk about Sophia Thomalla
Otherwise, the “supernoses” talk about the Reality Awards, to which they were not invited. Thomas Gottschalk doesn’t dare to talk about Sophia Thomalla (35), who moderated the event. Because he would only get a shitstorm anyway…. Mike Krüger shows less shyness and describes Thomalla’s outfit as “incredibly sexy”.
They also talk about their plan to found a party called EWP (Real True Party). Mario Barth (52) has already agreed to become Chancellor. The comedian is scheduled to give a New Year’s speech on December 31st and Mike Krüger wants to present the party program in the form of a song.
At the end, Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger say goodbye to their apostles in an almost stately manner. They only half-heartedly and ironically describe themselves as “signposts” that would now disappear. At least they don’t want to rule out the possibility that the duo from the “Supernasen” films could go on tour.
