The chancellor of the Venezuelan regime, Yvan Gilhe said through a message Telegram that the Argentine government “has made a serious mistake and has left countless physical evidence that implicates them in a terrorist plan”. In any case, he did not present new evidence to make this accusation.
In the same message, he added that Milei and Bullrich “were discovered red-handed trying to introduce violent elements into Venezuela.” Finally, and in line with what Maduro’s deputy, Diosdado Cabello, declared this Monday, he justified the kidnapping of Nahuel Gallo saying that “he wanted to infiltrate” the country and that he is being prosecuted “with full respect for the rule of law and Venezuelan justice”.
The Argentine government repudiated the kidnapping of Nahuel Gallo and warned Venezuela: “It is almost an act of war”
In this framework, the Argentine Minister of Security made it clear that they are going to take the measures “that they have to take” so that the kidnapped gendarme can “return home.”
In turn, the official asserted that Venezuela “they have several hostages” and that they use them “as currency.”
“We have contradictory information, he denied it but we do not believe him. We know he is in Caracas, which is where the center of repressive power is,” he said, while expanding: “We don’t know if it is in Helicoide or in another center.”
“Argentina is not going to stay silent because it is almost an act of war”concluded Patricia Bullrich in dialogue with Radio Rivadavia.
Along the same lines, he spoke Milei, who assured that he will exhaust all diplomatic channels to ensure that the gendarme returns to the country.
“He was detained by the Security Forces in charge of the criminal dictator Nicolas Madurofor the sole crime of visiting his partner and his son,” the President remarked.
The kidnapping of Nahuel Gallo on the Venezuelan border
The personnel of the national Gendarmerie Agustín Nahuel Gallo was arrested last Sunday when he was trying to enter Venezuela as part of a family visit which he did for leisure. This Friday, the news broke and his relatives began to give testimonies about the situation that is occurring.
Maria GomezGallo’s partner, described the event as a ”kidnapping”, and gave details about the last communication she had with him. ”They found messages from me where I criticized the Venezuelan government. I imagine that hurt him in some way,” he said in a conversation with DNews. “I never imagined this could happen to us. There are no words to describe the suffering.”the woman exclaimed.
