New hair shortly before the inauguration?

His blonde hair is almost as famous as he is. But now Donald Trump is daring to change his style. Or was it just his cap’s fault?
The hair of the former and soon-to-be US President Donald Trump (78) has already caused a sensation and headlines countless times. Now there is a new excitement: the controversial Trump once again pursued his favorite pastime, golf. He also briefly faced his cheering fans at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, lifting his typical red baseball cap. However, completely unexpectedly, a completely new hairstyle emerged.
Suddenly gone was his iconic, blonde side parting, which was intended to somewhat disguise the light hair on his head during public appearances through elaborate combing and blow-drying – which Donald Trump was often interpreted as excessively vain and slightly ridiculous. Under his cap, Trump suddenly hid an almost modern cut, with straight, slightly slicked-back and – at first glance – apparently full hair. Of course, hot discussions immediately broke out in the comment columns about the unusual Trump style. Some think it’s good, others find it even more ridiculous:
Does Donald Trump now look like an “angry grandpa”?
Many praise his new look: The (supposedly) new haircut makes Trump look younger and “dashing”. He seems so much fresher, even if you still have to get used to the sight per se. “Trump combed his hair back today. Rare sight,” wrote one of the X users, for example. However, another, probably somewhat cynically, joked that the new hairstyle exudes a “unique and powerful aura.” Another briskly comments that Trump now finally looks like an “angry grandpa.”
However, it has not yet been conclusively clarified whether this look is really a real image change. Some observers suspect that it is just so-called cap hair, but in this case more precisely cap hair. So a hairstyle that has been destroyed by the headgear and is garnished with a little sweat quickly creates a strange appearance. The high humidity in Florida may be doing the rest. So far, at least, there has been no reaction from the Trump team as to whether the incoming US President has done a visual makeover before the holidays and the inauguration in January. His next appearances will show it.
