Pop star Jürgen Drews: This time there is a patchwork Christmas party

Pop star Jürgen Drews (79) and his wife Ramona Drews (51) have “moved to Munich”. This is confirmed by their daughter, Joelina Drews (29). The young singer has been living there for a long time. “There was a lot going on,” she says of the year that was coming to an end, “especially because of the move – the old nest was abandoned.” What is meant is the move by her parents. “Now my parents also have their home base in Munich and have actually decided to give up the house in Dülmen – where they have lived for the last 25 years,” the 29-year-old continues. The final farewell to the house in North Rhine-Westphalia is scheduled for next year.

Next up is Christmas, but here too there is a change. “This year is the first time we’re having a patchwork Christmas. My parents […] live in their new house. We thought it would be nice if we all celebrated there together – with Adrian’s family and mine,” she says. Joelina Drews has been happily in a relationship with Adrian for several years.

However, the Drews will have to do without a family member. “Unfortunately, my grandfather won’t be coming. He doesn’t want to travel to us alone this year,” says the musician. “Maybe next year it will work, but at the moment he’s still having a bit of a hard time because it’s his first Christmas without my grandma,” she added.

Gifts play a relatively minor role for her family, but what is important for Joelina Drews is: “The Christmas tree must be decorated for Christmas.” Another tradition is the holiday meal: “We make duck with homemade red cabbage and dumplings every year,” reveals the artist, “from December 20th […] switch completely into Christmas mode and “just be with the family” for now.
