“Sorry: Dennis Rodman wants to win back daughter

After his daughter Trinity Rodman (22) publicly settled accounts with ex-basketball star Dennis Rodman (63) and portrayed him as a permanently absent father, the NBA champion spoke out himself. On December 19th, he takes an emotional step toward his daughter.

In the post he films a series of father-daughter pictures and writes: “I’m sorry I wasn’t the father you wanted, but either way I tried anyway and am still trying and never will Stop. I will keep trying, even if you are told not to answer my calls. I will try, even if it is difficult and if it takes a long time.”

He wished his three children would call and visit him. “Hopefully I can get that one day. I’m here and I’ll always answer the phone. You have my number, you see me calling, I’m still here.” He signs “Dennis Rodman – Dad”.

The US national soccer player Trinity Rodman spoke on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast about the difficult relationship with the basketball hero. “He’s not a father. Maybe by blood, but nothing else. Hearing his voice hurts.” After the divorce from her mother Michelle Moyer (57) in 2012, he abandoned her – also financially. She had to sleep in a car for a time. “I think he’s an extremely selfish person.”

When the ball athlete was signed by the Washington Spirit in 2021 at the age of 18, she was the youngest player ever signed in the National Women’s Soccer League.
