Mariah Carey has a hard time wrapping presents
Pop star Mariah Carey prefers to leave the gift-wrapping to others. In a video she demonstrates why.
Pop star and “Queen of Christmas” Mariah Carey demonstrates in a funny video how little she cares about wrapping presents. “It’s really not my thing,” the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer, 55, said in the clip she shared on Instagram.
In it she sits in front of a decorated Christmas tree and tries to wrap earmuffs in gold wrapping paper. The singer visibly has a hard time with this, complaining about the large scissors and the adhesive strips that stick to her long fingernails.
Because she’s not good at it, she prefers to leave the packing to others, the Grammy winner clarified. “I’ll buy the presents, no problem.” Carey’s hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, released in 1994, reliably reaches the singles charts every Advent season.
