In his podcast, Oliver Pocher gives an insight into his children’s Christmas wish lists.
Christmas is just around the corner for Oliver Pocher too. In the latest episode of , which he runs with ex-wife Alessandra “Sandy” Meyer-Wölden, the comedian and podcaster revealed what he sees as the exorbitant Christmas wishes of his own children. “I saw my children’s Christmas list yesterday. There is very little on it under 1000 euros,” said Pocher literally.

Among other things, “a mobile scooter” would be on several wish lists. He ordered two of the companions for the proud price of 1,200 euros each. In addition, his offspring would also like current, high-priced branded smartphones. Meyer-Wölden, with whom Pocher shares three children, calmly remarks that her ex-husband does not have to fulfill all of his wishes.
First an insurance salesman, then a “small, lousy guy”: the career of comedian Oliver Pocher
Actually, everything could have turned out differently: After graduating from secondary school, Oliver Pocher trained as an insurance salesman. “Graduated with a four, and in accounting I only got a five,” he said in the youth magazine “Spiesser” in 2007. It could have been clear early on that the job wouldn’t work out. And so Pocher tried his hand at being a comedian at a young age. He made his first appearances on television shows at the end of the 1990s. A fateful moment, however, was his meeting with the recently deceased presenter Hans Meiser. After an appearance on Meiser’s talk show, he was hired by the Viva station. “For that I am grateful to Hans Meiser to this day and forever connected,” he said after the presenter’s death.

The mother of five seems to have a little understanding for the desire for new technology. “That’s just the way it is these days,” notes Meyer-Wölden. The current reality would consist of tablets, smartphones and computers.
Oliver Pocher asks Sandy about her relationship
Oliver Pocher’s popular podcast partner caused a stir in 2024 with her separation after a short relationship in November. When asked by Pocher in the podcast about her personal annual highlights, she explains: “Then I was briefly in a relationship this year, that was a highlight for me, until it turned into a nightmare.”
“Nightmare, that bad?” asks Oliver Pocher, who seems incredulous, at this point, whereupon Meyer-Wölden explains that she had hoped “that it would last longer, and that ended relatively surprisingly and quickly.”
