Donald Trump’s new hairstyle: From Goldilocks to teenage rebel

Donald Trump has a new hairstyle. Many people think that he is reminiscent of a well-known film character. But his change in type fits, says our author.
“Something is different,” many people thought when they saw the pictures of Donald Trump from his own golf club in Palm Beach, Florida. Sure, it’s the hairstyle! The hair lies flat on the head and combed back on the presidential skull, as can be seen in various videos. Shaker and stricter than usual. Or, as some users on X write: somehow ridiculous. Another user writes: “He looks like Buzz McCallister.”
Trump got new hair cut, and its fucking hillarious.
He looks like Buzz McCallister from Home Alone 🤣 pic.twitter.com/LXTLCRPi9Y

And this comparison is quite apt.
Because the style on the head of the future US President and the character from the cult film “Home Alone” is actually quite similar. And the character traits of the constantly provocative and troublesome teenage rebel are also similar to those of the 78-year-old politician. A pubescent who struggles with his own insecurities and has to compensate for them by putting others down – but still gets away with it and doesn’t have to fear any consequences. Doesn’t that sound somehow familiar?
But we digress. It’s about the hair.
Was Donald Trump’s stylist on vacation – or will it stay that way now?
Above all, you ask yourself what that means. Will it stay that way? Has Trump undergone a type change? Or was that just an exception? The future president actually takes a lot of time for his hair: a stylist gives him the yellowish blow-dry wave. His hairstyle usually looks voluminous and gentle. A bit like Goldilocks. The color is usually richer and the hair is fuller overall.
Now the color is gone, as is the volume. You can see the misery underneath more clearly. Something sublime is missing. And in the end the hairstyle is one thing above all: much more authentic than before.
