King Charles III’s cancer treatment should not be completed yet. There still seems to be optimism in the palace.
King Charles III’s cancer treatment (76) will reportedly continue next year. . According to the report, the palace said the monarch’s treatment “has progressed in a positive direction and the cycle of treatment will continue into next year.”
According to Sky News, the anonymous source added that there was confidence regarding the cancer. This is also reflected in the king’s desire to complete a dense program of public appearances.
Regular medical appointments in London
Buckingham Palace announced in February that King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer and had begun treatment. The monarch announced his cancer diagnosis in the hope that it could help other sufferers, it was said at the time. What form of the disease it is has not been made public. It is also not known what type of treatment the king is undergoing, but according to British media reports, he has regularly visited London for medical appointments.
The King and Queen Camilla (77) will make one last public appearance before their Christmas break. They will then retire to the royal estate in Sandringham. The royal family traditionally spends their Christmas there.
Princess Kate (42) is among the supposedly over 40 family members who are coming together there this year. The wife of the heir to the British throne, Prince William (42), also had to undergo cancer treatment this year. She announced in September that she had completed her chemotherapy, but also said her road “to healing and full recovery” was long, “and I have to continue to live day by day.”
