Carolin Kebekus: This is what your Christmas with baby will be like

Comedian Carolin Kebekus (44) became a mother for the first time this year. she has now spoken about how she will spend her first Christmas in the new role. Overall, she held back on planning compared to previous years: “I used to be responsible for more, more gifts, more preparation,” says Kebekus, who had her first child in January.

“I’m out of it a bit this year because you’re already well-busy with everything you have to think about with a child. Plus, you work full-time, so there’s not much time left to plan a family dinner,” she says to “WAZ” further.

Kebekus has been back on stage since September after a maternity break and is performing with her program “Shesus”. There are moments when everything seems like a lot to her, but she is very happy to be working again. “For me it was the right decision to perform again, it was good for my mental health.” She can switch off easily at work because she knows that her baby is being well looked after.

The comedian has also been back with her “Carolin Kebekus Show” on ARD since October. On October 24th, the first of ten new episodes ran at 8:15 p.m. in the media library and at 11:35 p.m. in the linear program on Erste. The tenth episode comes on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
