At the final concert of his latest tour, Paul McCartney receives support from Ringo Starr. The ex-Beatle is not the only star that Sir Paul brings onto the stage.
The two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, made a rare joint appearance in London. “I had a great evening tonight, it was a great show,” said 84-year-old Ringo as he was joined on stage by his former bandmate, the PA news agency reported. Shortly afterwards he sat down at the drums and played along with “Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and “Helter Skelter”.
Paul McCartney also brought Ron Wood on stage
Sir Paul played the final concert of his “Got Back Tour”, which took him through Latin America, France and Spain and reached its finale in the British capital yesterday. Ringo Starr wasn’t the only prominent guest: Sir Paul played the Beatles song “Get Back” with Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones.

The Beatles split up in 1970. After the assassination of John Lennon in 1980 and the death of George Harrison in 2001, McCartney and Ringo Starr are the only surviving former members of the legendary Fab Four. They are rarely seen on stage together.
