A few weeks before the end of the year, the Comprehensive Medical Care Program (PAMI) reaffirmed the different ways in which its members can present the PAMI credential. With this, they will be able to have access to all the services and benefits offered by the organization.
The credential is used to validate appointments with specialists, pick up medications at pharmacies, make appointments for agencies, and carry out online and in-person procedures.
Types of current PAMI credentials
In November of this year, PAMI had discontinued two formats of the credential: the provisional credential without QR and the previous version of the current plastic card. Currently the different formats to present it are the following:
- Digital credential: It is obtained through the official PAMI mobile app.
- Provisional credential with QR: It is a paper that can be requested through the official PAMI website. To do this, the details of the provisional credential must be completed.
- Provisional credential ticket: It can be requested at agency self-management terminals or at Local Management Units (UGL).
- Credential on plastic card: The printed card is no longer distributed but if members have it, they can use it in their transactions. It is only valid in its latest version.
If any member does not have these forms, it is necessary to renew the credential.

Steps to renew expired credentials
There are two ways to carry out this procedure:
PAMI official website
- Enter the official website and select the section PAMI credential.
- Go down until you find the credential format that you have and is not current and click the link that leads to complete the data to request the provisional credential.
- Once the data is completed, you can print the credential.
PAMI official app
- Install the application on the cell phone.
- Enter with personal information and register.
- Select the option to request the digital credential.
- Complete the requirements to approve the request.
- Wait for the confirmation and download the digital credential in the app.
