What ingredients do you need?

  • Fresh Mint
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • broken ice
  • 60ml Cynar 70
  • grapefruit juice

Preparation

  • Gently mash the mint in a highball glass, with the lemon juice and simple syrup.
  • Add plenty of broken ice, Cynar and integrate.
  • Complete with grapefruit juice.

Pro tip:

  • The ideal mint for the cocktail is English or piperita, and not black mint, which is much more invasive.
  • If we are looking for a quality cocktail, both lemon and grapefruit juice should be squeezed and not from cardboard.
  • In relation to the ice, the suggestion is to break it a little before adding it. The ice does not have to float: if that happens, it is watering down the drink and not keeping it cold.
