Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents numerous alleged victims in the abuse trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs, has now been sued himself.
The abuse trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs (55) is scheduled to open at the beginning of May 2025. The US music mogul is accused of, among other things, violent sex trafficking, organized extortion, fraud and coercion. Since the beginning of December of this year, there has also been a lawsuit against Combs’ colleague Jay-Z (55), in which he is accused of raping a minor at the time of the alleged crime over 20 years ago.
A central figure in these upcoming trials is the star Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee (56), who has already filed dozens of lawsuits in the obscure abuse case and claims to represent a total of around 120 affected victims. In the run-up to the court cases, the fight is tough, with the aim usually being to put the opposing side in a bad light.
“Jane Doe” makes allegations against lawyer Buzbee
attorney Buzbee now finds himself in the crosshairs due to a lawsuit filed against him. According to the report, there is a woman behind the lawsuit who has previously only been identified anonymously as “Jane Doe” (roughly “Erika Mustermann”). Her allegations: Buzbee had sex with her in 2018 without first telling her that he suffered from a (unspecified) sexually transmitted disease. He is also said to have hit her in the face with a champagne flute during an argument in a bar, injuring her.
The star lawyer immediately denied these allegations to People. “The conspiracy to discredit me and prevent me from asserting my claims in the Diddy lawsuit has become criminal,” he said. The lawsuit filed against him is simply about “discrediting” and “intimidating” him. Before filing this lawsuit, “Jane Doe’s” lawyer demanded $20 million from him and threatened to “ruin his reputation.”
