Schlager icon becomes grandma for the fifth time
Shortly after the end of her big farewell tour, singer Vicky Leandros can look forward to another grandchild.
On December 3, 2024, the German-Greek singer Vicky Leandros (72) said goodbye to the big stages with a spectacular concert in Berlin’s Tempodrom after a career that spanned around 55 years. Just a few days later she appeared for the last time on a television show in the gala “A Heart for Children”.
As has now become known, the pop diva was now able to hold her fifth grandchild close to her heart. After four grandsons, this is the first “little princess”.
“Little Princess” as an early Christmas present
It was only in the summer of this year that her daughter-in-law Lena (39), married to her son Leandros (43), gave birth to a grandson. Her eldest daughter Milana (39) gave the singer three male grandchildren in previous years. The first granddaughter gave birth to Vicky’s youngest daughter, the actress Sandra von Ruffin (38). A name for the little princess has not yet been announced.
the happy grandmother was happy about the offspring with the following words: “It’s a wonderful gift so close to Christmas, and I’m very grateful for these moments. It’s wonderful to have a little princess with us now.”
