What will happen next for Stefan Raab in 2025?

Stefan Raab is not resting after his TV comeback. The entertainer has already made some plans for 2025.

Stefan Raab (58) has an exciting year behind him. As is well known, the “TV total” inventor not only boxed against long-term rival Regina Halmich (48) for RTL and celebrated his TV comeback, but also started his new show “You won’t win a million here with Stefan Raab”. But what will happen next for the presenter next year?

Live show on Saturday

Before Raab retires for his winter break and ends the year, he will launch another new show next Saturday (December 21st): RTL is showing “Stefan and Bully against some Schnulli” live at 8:15 p.m. Raab and “LOL” host Michael Bully Herbig (56) will compete as a duo. The opponent will be a candidate who prevailed against three competitors at the beginning of the show.

There is prize money of 250,000 euros for the player; 12 rounds are scheduled with “spectacular outdoor games, tricky quiz rounds and extraordinary skill competitions”. As in many other Raab formats, Elton (53) will act as game director in the show. Frank Buschmann (60) will traditionally comment on the competition. The announcement for the show also shows that further editions are apparently planned: “Should the dream team Stefan & Bully triumph, the money will stay in the pot and the next edition will be played for 500,000 euros.”

“You won’t win a million with Stefan Raab here”

From February we will continue with Stefan Raab’s show “You won’t win a million here with Stefan Raab” (every Wednesday at 8:10 p.m. on RTL+). “We’ll see each other again on February 12th,” he announced on December 18th. There are currently six recording dates listed for the Raab Entertainment shows at the EMG Studios in Hürth (February 11th, 18th and 25th, 2025 and March 4th, 11th and 18th, 2025).

In the show, Stefan Raab himself competes against candidates who are trying to steal the promised million from him. To do this, they have to prevail against Raab in various quiz and duel rounds. A variety of celebrities have already acted as game leaders. As a mixture of “Schlag den Raab” and “TV total”, Raab also brings his usual stand-up moments into the studio in his new show.

ESC preliminary decision

The next big Raab coup is also scheduled to take place in the spring. The ESC experienced presenter and musician has teamed up with ARD and RTL and will present the German ESC preliminary decision “Chefsache ESC 2025 – Who sings for Germany?” put on your feet. RTL will show three primetime live shows on February 14th, 15th and 22nd. Raab and his jury are supposed to select the best from 24 acts. Several singing rounds and song disciplines await the applicants.

In the big live finale on ARD on March 1st, viewers will decide who will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest on May 17th in Basel. 3,281 artists and bands applied for the shows.

Raab fans can certainly look forward to further projects and shows from the entertainment veteran: The presenter announced in the ring of his comeback boxing match that he would be doing shows again from now on. He has agreed a five-year contract with RTL, which, in addition to his weekly show, also includes major TV events.
