Max: what “Red” is about
Set in 1975, the story takes place in a small Argentine townwhere Claudio, a respected lawyer, lives with his wife Susana and their daughter. The tranquility of your daily life is disturbed when a strange man attacks him for no apparent reason in a restaurant. Faced with this incident, the neighbors quickly show solidarity with the protagonist, humiliating the aggressor and expelling him from the place. However, the calm does not last long, as the stranger returns and, determined to take revenge, intercepts the couple as they return to their home.
This new encounter triggers an irreversible change in Claudio’s life. From there, the character played by Darío Grandinetti makes decisions that drag him down a dark pathfull of violence, secrets and lies.
The story reveals how, as the protagonist is involved in increasingly dangerous situations, the tension between the moral and the immoral becomes an internal conflict.
