The German stars reveal which dishes will be on their Christmas table at Christmas.

As we all know, tastes are different – this also applies to celebrities when it comes to the perfect Christmas menu. While some swear by classic dishes, others let their culinary creativity run wild, as they revealed in an interview with the news agency spot on news.

Stefanie Hertel (45) and her family have a clear tradition for Christmas Eve: “There has to be cheese fondue because we all love it and it’s quick and easy to prepare,” reveals the singer. Her husband Lanny bakes good bread with it. On one of the holidays, Hertel serves a vegetarian feast – last year, for example, a “chestnut and nut roast with red cabbage and dumplings”. Her daughter Johanna, on the other hand, is responsible for the sweet dishes. “I am sure that our pastry chef Johanna will spoil us with a delicious cake,” says Hertel happily.

Harald Glööckler’s (59) culinary Christmas Eve is completely different. The designer relies on extravagance: “What should definitely not be missing is butter, pasta with truffles, caviar and champagne.” Singer Vanessa Mai (32), on the other hand, likes it much more down-to-earth: “I love hearty food at Christmas. Very classic – dumplings and red cabbage are a must!” Ruth Moschner (48) also likes it hearty. “Good potato dumplings are simply wonderful.” The presenter has already pre-ordered her goose.

It’s also traditional for Carsten Maschmeyer (65): “For me, a goose with dumplings, red cabbage and lots of sauce is a must in the run-up to Christmas,” explains the entrepreneur. On Christmas Eve, his family also relies on fondue – “everyone is their own cook.” On the holidays, family members take turns cooking.

At Semino Rossi (62), on the other hand, there is “no traditional Christmas dinner”. “Sometimes my dear daughter Laura makes raclette on the 24th and sometimes I cook paella on the 25th, sometimes the holiday meal comes out of the oven. I decide spontaneously,” said the singer.

Actress Paula Kalenberg (38) has a particular ambition when it comes to the vegetarian Christmas menu: “Over the last 20 years, I have perfected cooking very hearty plant-based meals,” she says proudly. “I always love to think of an alternative to game goulash or the obligatory goose with dumplings.”

Things will be a little more unconventional this year for Sasha (52) and his wife Julia Röntgen (45). “We actually cook a turkey every year, with homemade dumplings and red cabbage, the whole program,” reports the 45-year-old. But since the family had grown too big, she was planning “a Christmas party for the first time, without a set meal, with a schnitzel and potato salad buffet.”
