Harlan Thrombey is a famous writer of detective novels who, to celebrate his 85th birthday, invites his entire family to the mansion. From the beginning you can see the disagreements between them, but everything becomes dramatic when appears slit with his throat in one of his rooms and each of the family members becomes a suspect.
Without knowing if it was a suicide or a murder, the most inquisitive detective in the country is summoned. Benoit Blanc will interrogate them one by one to get to the bottom of the mystery and determine who carried out the murder. Between false clues and cover-up lies, he will try to clarify the fact with all the potential murderers present in the mansion.
