The Oceanian country created a new Visa subcategory aimed at those seeking temporary jobs in 2025.

The government of New Zealand created a new Subcategory of Work Visa for Specific Purposes (SPWV) aimed at temporary workers from 2025. This modification in the employability regime will allow people to be part of the industries in their high seasons and be able to add experience in different areas.

This new subcategory is intended for Industries that are affected by climatic events such as harvesting, ski instruction and tree planting functions. Therefore, it offers the possibility of employment for a short term and is related to your skills. It will be available from May 31, 2025.
