Disney+ presented the trailer and images of the next original series of Marvel Animation, Your friend and neighbor Spider-Manwhich premieres on January 29, 2025 exclusively on the streaming platform.
The sleek animation style, paying homage to the famed New York hero’s early comic book roots, follows Peter Parker on his path to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU. In this alternate timeline, as shown in the clip, Spider-Man’s origin story features a mentorship from Norman Osborn (of Oscorp fame), the alter ego of the bitter enemy Green Goblin, instead of Tony Stark.

Original English voice talent includes Hudson Thames, Colman Domingo, Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Zeno Robinson, Hugh Dancy and Charlie Cox. The head writer is Jeff Trammell and Mel Zwyer is the supervising director. Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt and Trammell are executive producers.
