For his part, the resignation thanked “the trust and support of Governor Axel Kicillof and my reference Sergio Massa.”

The Province of Buenos Aires extended the Budget
This Monday, meanwhile, the government of the province of Buenos Aires announced that it will once again extend the budget approved in 2023 by the year 2025 due to the lack of approval in the Legislature of that instrument of economic policy and government planning, as well as the Tax Law of 2024.
“Last Friday, the Legislature did not approve the budget, the Tax Law or the debt,” said the Government Minister, Carlos Biancoduring a press conference that he led at the Government House in La Plata and added that the package of laws “was not an adjustment, nor a cut, but rather an expansion and responded to the cuts that the national government made to us.”
The official stated that “the cuts in fresh national funds that legitimately correspond to the province reach the 7.8 billionamong which is the paralysis of a thousand public works” and recalled that, for this reason, “6 complaints were made before the national Supreme Court” and “some response” is expected.
“Our priorities continue to be health, education, security, work, public works and production. We continue to carry it forward, with fewer resources,” he said and added: “Our program is not an adjustment, it supports public works and launches economic activity.”
