According to “Bild”, there will be a total of 13 candidates competing in the Australian jungle for the crown of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” battle. If one of them fails, a replacement seems to have already been taken care of. Sports commentator Jörg Dahlmann (65) is said to be the man for all situations.

The 65-year-old Dahlmann was long considered a popular football commentator, but his loose mouth caused a number of scandals. In December 2020, he joked about the former goalkeeper of 1. FC Union Berlin, Loris Karius (31), who had his place on the substitutes’ bench. The then Sky presenter said about Karius, who was in a relationship with presenter Sophia Thomalla (35) at the time: “In Berlin he just sits on the bench. The advantage is that he can cuddle with his Sophia Thomalla at home. But I would sit on the bench for a night of cuddles with Sophia.” Dahlmann was then placed on leave.

But that’s not all: the next scandal followed in March 2021, which led to the football commentator’s immediate termination. During a second division game, Dahlmann described Japan as the “land of sushi” and had to face accusations of racism. The 65-year-old couldn’t understand all the excitement surrounding his statement, and to this day Dahlmann still sees his termination as the “story of a ridiculous and embarrassing expulsion.” If the football commentator really moves into the jungle camp in 2025, his sayings could also be a topic of conversation there.

While there is still a question mark behind Dahlmann’s name, two candidates for the 2025 jungle camp are already certain to be there: Lilly Becker (48) and reality star Maurice Dziwak (26).

The entire list of candidates remains secret for the time being, but “Bild” wants to know other names. Accordingly, in addition to the ex-wife of tennis legend Boris Becker (57) and Dziwak, ex-GZSZ actress Nina Bott (46), “The Summer House of the Stars” winner Sam Dylan (33), GZSZ actor Timur Ülker (35) are also moving. , ex-DSDS candidate Anna-Carina Woitschack (32), actress and singer Edith Stehfest (29), Olympic star Jürgen Hingsen (66), reality star Yeliz Koc (31), her ex-boyfriend reality star Yasin Mohamed (33) and Willi Herren’s daughter Alessia Herren (22) in the Australian jungle. In addition to sports commentator Jörg Dahlmann, ex-“Bachelor” candidate Eva Benetatou (32) is also considered a possible replacement, as “Bild” reports.

The 18th season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” starts on Friday, January 24th, from 8:15 p.m. on RTL.
