Fotomultas: where the cameras are located on the route to the Atlantic Coast

Know the exact locations of the cameras to avoid fines for speeding on the road.

Many people choose the Atlantic Coast as a vacation spot. However, the Government of the province of Buenos Aires updated the location and increased the number of controls and radars in the routes 2, 11, 36, 63 and 74. There will also be an operation of breathalyzer controls by the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV).

The fine amounts were last updated in October. However, it would be expected that they will receive a new update in January.

Amount of fines for speeding in Buenos Aires

At the end of October the Fixed Unit (UF)which is the unit of measurement that governs fines. It currently has a value of $1,336. Therefore, fines for speeding, which can cost from 150 to 1000 UFare equivalent from $200,400 to $1,336,000.

On the other hand, in Buenos Aires the “Zero Alcohol Behind the Wheel”. The fines for driving with excess alcohol in the blood or for consuming drugs range from $267,200 up to $1,336,000.

Where are the cameras on the route to the Atlantic Coast

The maximum speed on routes 11, 63 and 74 is 60km/h to 110km/h, while on route 2 it is 60km/h to 120km/h. Currently there are a total of 70 cameras distributed among all routes: 48 in RP2, 11 in RP11, two in RP36, five in RP63 and six in RP74.
