Things are simmering in Hollywood. Blake Lively is feuding with Justin Baldoni. Just in time for the turn of the year, the legal disputes enter another round.
Shortly before the end of the year there was another big bang in Hollywood. US actress Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against her “Just One More Time” co-star and director Justin Baldoni, causing a sensation. The allegations are serious. Baldoni now fires back. Just in time for the new year, he filed a lawsuit against the New York Times. However, Lively doesn’t let that discourage her. On the contrary. Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds’ wife has also taken further legal action.
US media, , reported a few days before Christmas that Lively had filed a lawsuit against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department. The relevant documents spoke of sexual harassment and a coordinated attempt to destroy the actress’ reputation. It was also noted, among other things, that Baldoni’s alleged behavior had caused the Livelys family “severe emotional suffering.” His side distanced itself and spoke of false accusations.
Blake Lively speaks of “sinister retaliation tactics”
In one, Blake Lively said, “I hope my lawsuit will help lift the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics that harm people who speak out about wrongdoing – and protect others who may be targeted.” Now, according to US reports, she has once again formally filed a lawsuit in federal court in New York against Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and other parties.
Plus the actress’s legal team. The decision to speak about the matter “unfortunately led to further retaliation and attacks”: “The defendants will now have to answer for their behavior in federal court.”

Justin Baldoni feels slandered
Like , Baldoni and his publicists have meanwhile sued the daily newspaper. The actor and director claims that “he and his team were slandered in an article about actress Blake Lively’s claims that she was the victim of a smear campaign.”
The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, seeks $250 million in damages, according to the report. Baldoni’s side accuses the newspaper of uncritically adopting a “self-serving portrayal” of Lively in an article before Christmas. Information was allegedly intentionally omitted that contradicted the actress’s statements about the events that occurred. The New York Times plans to vigorously defend itself against the lawsuit, it said in a statement. The article reported “meticulously and responsibly”.
