Michelle Hunziker: Why she swears by masturbation for her health
Michelle Hunziker is 47 years old, but feels like she is 25. The presenter has now spoken to an Italian newspaper about her secret.
In just three years, Michelle Hunziker will celebrate her big 50th birthday. However, their biological age is much younger. The presenter revealed this in an interview with the Italian newspaper “Corriere della Sera”. Physically and mentally she feels like she’s 25. “They say I have the centenarian gene,” says Hunziker.

Sport is very important to her. The former co-presenter of Thomas Gottschalk attributes the fact that her training is fun to her childhood in Switzerland. “When you play sports as a child, you do it because you enjoy it, while as an adult you realize that it’s actually good for you, and if I have a strong back today, it’s because of that,” she says. But not only that.
Equally important to her are happiness hormones, which she attributes to love. “Of course AMORE, these are dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, endorphins – all beautiful hormones (in nature) that not only give euphoria and happiness, but also beautify the skin,” explains the 47-year-old.
Last summer, Hunziker’s partner, the osteopath Alessandro Carollo, announced that the two were separating. But singles can also experience happiness hormones that promote their health, Hunziker assures in an interview. “Because there’s more than just the pleasure of eating, and if you don’t have a partner, you have to know how to still satisfy yourself,” she reveals.
She swears by masturbation
Hunziker is surprised that masturbation is such a taboo topic. “If people knew how good it is to masturbate and how good it is for the hormonal picture and everything else. It’s a big taboo, nobody talks about it, especially us women who are too often stressed, in everyday life, we are caught up in fears, we close ourselves off, we block ourselves. And that’s not good, not to mention the prejudices towards menopause and sexuality.
People should stop seeing it “as something ‘dirty’, it’s not.” Masturbation is “self-love, and it’s as good as a hot bath, an evening with friends, a great meal.”
According to the moderator herself, Hunziker’s advice can be taken seriously. After all, she is a mother and already a grandmother. In March 2023, Hunziker’s daughter Aurora Ramazzotti gave birth to her first child.
