Patricia Blanco and Andreas Ellermann: They got engaged on the same day

Patricia Blanco (53) and Andreas Ellermann (59) got engaged – not to each other, but to their new partners, and apparently on the same day. The daughter of Roberto Blanco (87) and the presenter are both back in solid hands almost two years after their separation.

Ellermann confirmed his engagement. At Christmas he spontaneously decided to propose to his partner Ilka during their three-week cruise vacation. On New Year’s Eve the time had come and the presenter got down on his knees off the coast of the island of Madeira with a ring from the on-board jeweler. Ellermann and his Ilka have been a couple since May 2023. “I’m the happiest person in the world at the moment,” Bild quoted the moderator as saying.

Ellermann’s ex-fiancée Patricia Blanco is apparently also happy. She and her new partner also plan to spend the rest of their lives together – even though the two have only been a couple since October 2024. “I’m incredibly happy and am very happy about this ring. Above all, I’m happy to have found a really good man in Benjamin. We enjoy every minute together,” said the reality star to “Bild”.

According to the newspaper, the diamond-studded piece of jewelry, of which Blanco also shared a snapshot in her Instagram story, is said to be “a mix of friendship and engagement ring” and “a sign of the now eternal bond.” Her partner is said to have given it to her at a New Year’s Eve party in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Patricia Blanco and Andreas Ellermann were a couple for around four years, got engaged in June 2020 and then again in November 2022. With their separation in 2023, the ex-couple made a number of headlines. Ellermann has been in a relationship with his partner Ilka since July 2023.

Blanco has been with her new boyfriend, an entrepreneur named Benjamin G., since October. The couple appeared on the red carpet together for the first time at the end of November. In an interview with RTL they enthused: “We are both on the way to true love.”
