Five years ago, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan withdrew from the British royal family. Now the Duchess appears in a new Netflix series – and gets involved in the kitchen.
Duchess Meghan (43) gives a first insight into her new series on Netflix. The eight-part production “With Love, Meghan” will be released on January 15th, as the streaming service announced. The wife of Prince Harry (40) is said to reveal lifestyle tips for cooking, gardening and entertaining, as the British news agency PA reported.
In the trailer, Meghan is seen with a platter of vegetables, choosing flowers and making focaccia. They said it shows how easy it can be to create something beautiful. Actresses Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer (“Suits”), for example, will appear as guests.
Prince Harry – the younger son of King Charles III. – and his wife Meghan resigned from their royal duties and left Great Britain five years ago. The two now live in the USA with their children Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3).
One reason for the withdrawal was the tabloid media’s treatment of Meghan. The couple had also made allegations against members of the Royal Family; their relationship with them was considered difficult.
Since then, the two have signed contracts worth millions so that they can stand on their own two feet. This includes a collaboration with Netflix. “I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it,” said a message on Meghan’s new Instagram channel.
