Into the New Year as a married couple: Maxi Mittelstädt marries his Lea on New Year’s Eve
Maximilian Mittelstädt and his Lea tied the knot on New Year’s Eve. The DFB star and the influencer haven’t known each other for that long.
National soccer player Maximilian Mittelstädt not only started a new year on New Year’s Eve, but also a new phase of his life. On December 31, 2024, the 27-year-old married his partner Lea. From now on, the influencer’s last name is no longer Prinz, but Mittelstädt.
An Instagram post shows the couple in love at the wedding. The account of VfB Stuttgart, Mittelstädt’s current club, wrote: “Congratulations. We wish you both all the best for the future together.” Teammates and old companions also warmly congratulated the Mittelstädts.

Emotional message on Lea’s veil
The influencer Lea didn’t miss the opportunity to emotionally report on the day in another post: “I couldn’t have imagined a better start to the new year 2025. Happy new year.”
Her veil also read: “Forever yours, forever mine, forever us.” She wore a fairytale white wedding dress, while Maximilian Mittelstädt also cut a good figure in his black suit.
Mittelstädt met Lea via Instagram
Lea celebrated her bachelorette party in Mallorca in November. Afterwards she said to RTL: “It was just perfect! I couldn’t have imagined anything better than celebrating with all my friends – these girls know me best.” In the conversation, she also revealed details about the wedding day: “We dream of a special day with little highlights that tell our story.”
As RTL reports, Maximilian Mittelstädt only met his Lea via Instagram after he moved from Hertha BSC Berlin to VfB Stuttgart. The couple made their relationship official in October 2023. Just nine months later, after the home European Championships, Maxi Mittelstädt is said to have proposed to his girlfriend – also in Mallorca.
