Although Tom Holland (28) and Zendaya (28) are a real Hollywood dream couple, the two are rarely seen together on the red carpet. The “Spider-Man” star now explained the background to these rare appearances. He decided not to walk the red carpet with her at his girlfriend’s film premieres, “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment. And when we go together, it’s about us.”
The actor and actress met while filming the 2017 film “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” They then appeared in front of the camera together for two more “Spider-Man” parts. While Holland plays Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the trilogy, Zendaya plays his girlfriend Michelle “MJ” Jones. Off-screen, the two have been a couple since 2021.
However, in 2026 there could be another opportunity to see the couple together on the red carpet. In 2025, Zendaya and Tom Holland will film a fourth “Spider-Man” film together, and they will also be part of the cast of Christopher Nolan’s epic “The Odyssey,” which is scheduled to hit theaters in summer 2026.
Tom Holland wants to retire as soon as he becomes a father
In the interview with Men’s Health, Holland also revealed that he apparently plans to live a life away from the big screen in the future. “When I have children, you won’t see me in films anymore,” said the 28-year-old. He then only wants to do two things: “Golf and being a father. And I’ll just disappear from the scene.”
