Heidi Klum: Back on “Project Runway”?

Heidi Klum (51) is back on the scene. After seven years, she is set to return to “Project Runway,” it has been learned. Exactly in what role Klum will be joining the fashion designer casting show, which she left in 2018 after sixteen seasons, is currently unclear.

The new 21st season of “Project Runway” will consist of ten episodes that will be broadcast weekly on US television. The jury and the premiere date have not yet been announced.

The Rhineland native hosted the successful series from 2004 to 2017 and even won the Emmy Award in 2013 for the leading role she played with her co-host Tim Gunn (71). During her time on Project Runway, she was nominated another nine times.

Project Runway is an American talent show that selects undiscovered fashion designers. The show was hosted by Klum for sixteen seasons. For seasons 17 and 18, model Karlie Kloss (32) took over the moderation for two years and then juror Christian Siriano (39) led through the show, in which amateur fashion designers compete against each other. They create designs that they have to produce in a short time according to a given motto and material. Your creations will be presented to a jury by models and evaluated.

She and Gunn then became producers and hosts of the show “Making the Cut,” which puts established designers to the test to prepare them for their own business: becoming the next big fashion label.
