Liam Payne’s suspected drug runner arrested
The investigation into Liam Payne’s death continues. Police have arrested one of the two men suspected of supplying him with drugs before his death.
The arrested man is accused of supplying Payne with cocaine two days before his fatal fall from the balcony of his hotel room, the AFP news agency learned from Argentine police sources on Friday.

He is one of five suspects charged in connection with Payne’s death. Liam Payne fell to his death on October 16 at the age of 31 from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires after consuming cocaine, alcohol and a prescription antidepressant. As a member of the boy band One Direction, he was internationally known and had fans worldwide. His sudden death caused sadness and dismay among his former bandmates and fans.
