She was not afraid of death, radiated calm and gave us strength.”

Christmas party in memory of Rosi Mittermaier

Shortly before Christmas 2024, Christian Neureuther said he would spend Christmas Eve with his children Ameli (43) and Felix and his grandchildren. Especially on the festival of love, his family feels a special connection to their deceased wife, mother and grandmother. “Her spirit is then in our room. We talk a lot about her, what she would do now. The grandchildren tell funny stories about grandma.” Even though he’s not a person who constantly looks back, Neureuther said, he enjoys it a lot and “draws strength from it to keep going.”
