After police action and speculation, Pietro Lombardi and Laura Maria Rypa have now clarified what really happened that night.
“Nothing tangible happened” – with these clear words, Laura Maria Rypa (29) cleared up the rumors that have been making headlines for weeks at a live event on Saturday in Chemnitz. At the beginning of October there was a police operation in the couple’s villa, as a result of which the then new mother of two even had to go to the hospital with her eight-week-old baby.
Emotional outburst over laundry
For the first time she told publicly what had happened instead. “I was doing my laundry and he then threw the freshly washed laundry on the floor and the dirty laundry on top of it again,” Rypa tearfully described the situation that triggered the argument.
For the 29-year-old, who said she was still overwhelmed by the new situation as a mother of two children, this was the proverbial straw. She further explains: “My emotions were just felt up there and then he really threw the laundry around as if it were nothing […] Yes, and then it got a bit out of hand. We had an argument.”
Pietro Lombardi (32) hugged his fiancée on stage and whispered “Oh, baby” to her comfortingly.
Clear statement on allegations of violence
Lombardi used the joint appearance on “OMG – The Couch Talk” to also take a stand: “Anyone who ever tackles his wife is the biggest dog. Period,” the singer clarified. , he admitted at the same time: “That doesn’t mean that I’m a blank slate. I have a lot of mistakes and I have to work on them.”
The couple’s statement came after rumors of domestic violence had been circulating for weeks. The police had confirmed a corresponding operation to RTL at the time. Afterwards, a contact ban was said to have been imposed against Pietro. With their emotional appearance in Chemnitz, the two apparently wanted to clear the air.
