Attempted break-in at Taylor Swift (32): According to US media reports, a 31-year-old man from Virginia has been arrested for driving a drunk car into the singer’s apartment building in New York City. He is also said to have attempted to gain entry to the building.
The incident happened just after 3 a.m. Thursday in the Tribeca neighborhood. There, Swift owns a townhouse and several apartments in an adjacent building. According to the report, the police said the arrested man drove his car into one of the buildings and tried unsuccessfully to gain entry.

Reports that the 31-year-old told officers he would not leave until he met Swift were not confirmed by the spokesman. The man was taken to a hospital for an examination and later arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
This isn’t the first time Taylor Swift has had an uninvited visitor. The multiple Grammy winner has previously dealt with stalkers at her home in Tribeca, as well as properties she owns in California and Rhode Island, according to media reports.
