Big star turnout at the Golden Globes: In Beverly Hills, many celebrities arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel shortly before the start of the trophy show. Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet in an elegant metallic dress, Nicole Kidman shone in a silver gown with a low back neckline. Heidi Klum, in a green evening dress, accompanied by her husband Tom Kaulitz, actress Leonie Benesch and director Edward Berger were also among the many filmmakers and stars who strolled past photographers.
The Globe trophies in 27 film and television categories are being presented for the 82nd time. The US broadcaster CBS broadcasts the approximately three-hour show live.
The musical crime thriller “Emilia Pérez” by French director Jacques Audiard is the favorite in the trophy race with ten nominations. The epic “The Brutalist” by US director Brady Corbet has seven chances to win. The Vatican thriller “Conclave” by Wolfsburg-born Oscar winner Edward Berger (“Nothing New in the West”) has been nominated six times.
