52 young women wanted to become “Miss America” – a 22-year-old aspiring nurse won.
A 22-year-old aspiring nurse has been named Miss America 2025. Abbie Stockard from the US state of Alabama beat 51 other candidates at the competition in Orlando, Florida. She had previously been elected “Miss Alabama” last year.
The winners of the regional competitions in Texas, Tennessee, Florida and Ohio came in behind. Among other things, the candidates had to present themselves in different outfits, dance and answer questions.
