Zendaya and Tom Holland: Engagement confirmed by insiders

The rumors about Zendaya (28) and Tom Holland (28) seem to be true: people close to the actors say that the ring the actress wore at the Golden Globes was actually an engagement ring. reports, citing the actors’ family environment, that the rumors are true.

Accordingly, the “Spider-Man” star is said to have gotten on his knees in front of Zendaya in an “intimate setting” between Christmas and New Year. The proposal is said not to have been a big show, but rather a romantic moment between the two Hollywood stars, without any spectators. Another source also told TMZ that Holland had asked his long-term girlfriend’s father for his blessing on the engagement months ago.

Apparently the couple is in no hurry to get married. “They’re going to enjoy things for now and not rush a wedding. They’re both busy with work projects,” an insider told People.

The couple met while filming the film “Spider-Man: Homecoming” from 2017. This was followed by two more “Spider-Man” parts, in which Holland played Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, while Zendaya played his role Girlfriend MJ plays. The couple has been officially in a relationship since 2021, but rarely appears on the red carpet together. So it could be that they won’t pose together again until next year – then the fourth “Spider-Man” film with the two stars will be released.
