The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has already finished with all the payments of the previous year’s assets, and began this week with the payment schedule corresponding to the month of January. With this, a 2.4% increase was included that will benefit retirees, pensioners and holders of family allowances.

This increase is due to the mobility formula that the Government of Javier Milei decreed in March 2024, and establishes monthly increases based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of two previous months, value derived from inflation measured by the INDEC. In addition, the bonuses complementary for certain benefits.

The ANSES confirmed the continuity of the complementary bonus of up to $70,000 for this specific group of holders:
- Holders of pension contributory benefits administered by Anses according to Law No. 24,241 and other national or transferred regimes.
- Beneficiaries of the Universal Pension for the Elderly.
- Holders of non-contributory pensions (old age, disability, mothers of 7 children or more) and ex-gratia pensions paid by ANSES.
The benefit is designed for those who earn the minimum, that is $265,907.01and to match minimum retirements and pensions. What is necessary will be granted so that everyone can earn at least $335,907.
