“The best heart attack of my life”: Disney+ confirmed the release date of the series based on the book by Hernán Casciari

The new comedy-drama tells the experience of an unfortunate writer who has a heart attack in a temporary rental house and is saved by his hosts.

Disney+ presents The best heart attack of my life, the new dramatic comedy that premieres on January 24 with all its episodes exclusively on the streaming service.

Based on the book of the same name by the Argentine writer Hernan Casciariand inspired by real events, the new production follows a frustrated writer who survives a heart attack thanks to the help of the hosts of the temporary rental house in which he stays, and from that event, his life and that of those around him are forever changed. Alan Sabbagh (Ariel), Olivia Molina (Shell), Rogelio Gracia (Xavier), Romina Peluffo (Alejandra) and Brian Maya (Joe) make up the leading cast, with special participations from Imanol Arias (El Yayo), Rita Cortese (Roberta) and Eleonora Wexler (Isabel).

The best heart attack of my life, based on real events

Recorded in different locations in Argentina, Uruguay and Spain, The Best Heart Attack of My Life is inspired by events from the writer’s own life. Hernan Casciariwho suffered a heart attack in Montevideo in 2015. Casciari’s experience went viral after being told live by him on radio and other broadcast channels, with great impact on audiences. The new series tells this fun, emotional and unusual story that highlights the power of generosity, chains of favors and “good karma.”

Composed of six 35-minute episodes, The Best Heart Attack of My Life is created by Pablo E. Bossiwho is also in charge of directing the series along with Mariana Wainsteinand has a script by Lucas Figueroa and the author collaboration of María Zanetti and Wainstein. They complete the cast of the new production Rafael Spregelburd (Briganti), Sebastian Berta Muñiz (David) and Daniel Holguin (Joni).
