Pamela Anderson recounts how a stranger once tried to attack her on a plane. The man apparently confused her with a well-known musician.
Pamela Anderson says she was almost attacked by a man who mistook her for a member of the female band Dixie Chicks. “Once I was on a plane and this guy came up to me and said, ‘Do you know what this country has done for you?'” the 57-year-old said on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, making an angry expression on her face according to their counterpart at the time. “And I thought, ‘Oh, my God. What have I done?'”
The actress says the man then continued to look at her hatefully from his seat. “The stewardess then had to tie him to the seat because he tried to attack me.” In the end it turned out that the man thought she was part of the trio Dixie Chicks (now The Chicks). In 2003, the popular women’s band rejected the Iraq War and the policies of then President George W. Bush and came under public criticism from previous fans of their country-pop music.
Pamela Anderson: Almost got killed
“I almost got killed on the plane,” Anderson concluded her story. “After that I was a bit afraid of flying.” The “Baywatch” icon will soon be coming to German cinemas with the film “The Last Showgirl”.
