From challenge to solution: Achievers Academy and the professionalization of imports from China

The educational platform offers a comprehensive solution for those entrepreneurs seeking to master imports from China. Advice and tips to avoid making mistakes.

Achievers Academy, founded in 2021 by Joaquín Méndez, managed to become a key reference for entrepreneurs who want to import products from China and transform these operations into profitable businesses. With more than 9,000 students and a practical approach, the platform combines import training, e-commerce creation and scalability, consolidating itself as a leading player in the Argentine educational ecosystem.

Joaquín Méndez’s journey in the world of imports began in 2017, driven by the desire to find an alternative to conventional work. “I always knew that a conventional job was not for me; I had bigger ambitions,” he shares. However, this path was not without challenges. Lack of start-up capital and an often uninspiring environment were the first obstacles he had to overcome.

Taking advantage of social networks like YouTube, he documented his learning and growth process, generating an organic community of followers interested in learning from his experience. “I shared content about my importing experiences, explained basic processes and showed results. This generated trust and a growing demand for advice,” explains Mendez. This need for support led to the creation of Achievers Academy as an educational platform.

Training at Achievers Academy is based on a comprehensive approach that covers the keys to international trade from China: iidentify competitive products, understand how to manage imports and optimize sales in digital channels. Among the featured programs is the “Importer Pro Legacy” course, which details the import process from China step by step, along with mentoring in productivity and scalability. This allows entrepreneurs to develop profitable e-commerce and maximize their market reach.

The impact of the academy is tangible: “many went from having a formal job to living 100% off their import business,” says Méndez. In addition to training, Achievers Academy helps prevent common mistakes among new entrepreneurs, such as the lack of research on regulations, the selection of unreliable suppliers or the poor management of finances.

In parallel, The entrepreneur also leads MyKiwis, his e-commerce brand that is in the process of expansion in Argentina. Its business strategy emphasizes the importance of identifying products with high demand and good margins, optimizing logistics and customer service to handle large sales volumes, and building brands that generate trust and loyalty in the market.

Méndez also highlights the need for delegate and form work teams that drive business growth. However, he believes that none of this is possible without a constant focus on learning and adaptation. “During my first year of e-commerce I did not make a single peso of profit for my personal use. I reinvested everything in stock, website improvements and marketing,” he explains.
