Numerous stars are affected by the massive fire disaster in California. Mel Gibson’s house also fell victim to the flames. He also sees it with humor.
The house of Oscar winner Mel Gibson (69) also fell victim to the devastating fires in California. “It’s the perfect storm, the perfect firestorm. My home looked like Dresden,” the 69-year-old told US broadcaster NewsNation. The actor also took the loss with humor: “At least I don’t have any of those annoying plumbing problems anymore,” Gibson continued.
The actor said he was in Austin recording a podcast with Joe Rogan when the fire reached his home in Malibu. His chickens survived: “They weren’t broilers,” Gibson said. He lived there for 14 to 15 years. “The good news is that the people in my family and those I love are doing well.”
Numerous stars affected by flames
Gibson isn’t the only star affected by the massive fire disaster. According to her own statements, reality star Paris Hilton (43) had to watch on television as her house fell victim to the devastating fires near Los Angeles. Singer Bill Kaulitz (35) also had to leave his house because of the fires. The Tokio Hotel frontman showed this in an Instagram story.
At least ten people have died in the forest fires so far. US President Joe Biden described the fires as the worst in California’s history. It looks as if “an atomic bomb was dropped in these areas,” said Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna about the situation in the affected regions.
