- Temporary and seasonal workers: having worked less than 12 months in the last 3 years and more than 90 days in the last year, before the end of the work.
- Construction workers: They are included in the National Construction Regime Law No. 25,371 and must have at least 8 months of work with contributions in the last 2 years prior to dismissal or completion of work.
How to apply for Unemployment Benefit
To carry out the procedure, first of all, the following documentation must be presented:
- Dismissal without just cause: dismissal telegram, document letter or dismissal note with certified signature of the employer.
- Dismissal due to bankruptcy or preventive bankruptcy of the employer: note from the trustee certifying the dissolution of the employment contract, bankruptcy ruling authenticated by the court, telegram from the employer notifying the termination due to bankruptcy or the copy of the Official Gazette where the bankruptcy was published.
- Termination of the employment contract due to a complaint by the worker based on just cause: Intimation telegram and job termination telegram sent by the worker.
- Non-renewal of a fixed-term contract: copy of the expired employment contract.
- Death of a sole proprietor: certified copy of the death certificate.
- If you have suffered a non-work-related illness/accident or work-related illness/accident at the time of termination of your last job: medical certificate of work fitness to occupy a job according to your health situation.
