Cressida Bonas, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend, can look forward to a second child thanks to artificial insemination.

Actress, dancer and model Cressida Bonas (35) has announced happy baby news. “I am now pregnant for the second time,” writes the ex-partner of Prince Harry (40), with whom she was together from 2012 to 2014.

“After getting pregnant the first time through artificial insemination, we were lucky enough to have saved another frozen embryo.” It is incredible “that a tiny frozen cluster of cells that already contains life can survive for years. The science behind this process never ceases to amaze me.” The 35-year-old, who married Harry Wentworth-Stanley in 2020, also reports on the differences from her first pregnancy.

This second pregnancy is completely different than the first pregnancy with son Wilbur (2), also because she struggles with morning sickness. “I’ve never had that before, and now I feel like I’ve been rocking on a boat for months,” says Cressida Bonas. Overall, the second pregnancy is less stressful than the first. Above all, she worries less. “I’m not stressing about the pepperoni I had on my pizza last night. My two-year-old makes sure I don’t have time for any of those things.”

Looking forward to the “next stage”

The expected offspring also means that the growing family will have to move, as the expectant mother further reports. “We need more space, our apartment is on the market and we are looking for a place to live.” She has mixed feelings about leaving the apartment “in which we have lived for so long.” She associates them with lasting memories of “how we moved in as a newly married couple, built our first home together and had a baby.” Nevertheless, she is happy at the thought of the “next stage”.

In 2022, Bonas reported on the difficulties of getting pregnant naturally. In the post, she explained, “My mind was spinning in a constant worry loop and my obsession with getting pregnant became overwhelming.” No matter how many expensive supplements she took, nothing worked. “I felt like my body was failing me.”
